Kids' Day Out (KDO) is an extended care program available for children from 8AM-9AM and/or 11:30AM until 3:30PM for additional fees, depending on the times needed.
Free play occurs in the mornings. In the afternoon, children bring lunches and eat together. Lunches are refrigerated, but cannot be heated. Outdoor play is part of every afternoon, weather permitting. For those who need it and parents have requested it, an area is provided for naps.
Your child is eligible to attend KDO only on days that they are in preschool class.
Reservations
- Standing reservation: Your child comes on a regular basis each week and has registered for this day and time.
- Drop-In reservation: You can call the day before to see if there is space available for your child for the next day. A surcharge (additional to the hourly fee) of $1/per day for a 2 hour drop-in and $2/per day for up to a 4 hour drop-in will apply.

Bills are available the 1st of each month. There is a $20 late payment fee after the 10th.
REGISTRATION:
Registration for a "standing" reservation in Kids' Day Out can be done at the same time you register your child for preschool (please note, they can attend KDO only on days that they have preschool class), or anytime during the year, space permitting. This means you have a specific day and time when your child will stay and are committed to that time. There is a $50 registration fee ($20 for a second child) at the time of registration. This is in addition to the registration fee for a preschool class.
